One hundred and seventy-two Labour MPs want to remove Jeremy Corbyn as their party leader. The current reason is his alleged poor performance in conducting the Remain campaign.
Among his constant critics are Frank Field (MP for Birkenhead) and John Mann (MP for Bassetlaw).
Frank Field told the Evening Standard on the 29th June this year, “It’s essential that we elect a new leader for the Labour Party.”
John Mann said, “Corbyn is not remotely up to the job of leading my party back to power.” Mail Online, 12th September 2015.
Of course, they are not the only MPs who are critical of Jeremy Corbyn. But what makes them exceptional is that they both campaigned for Brexit.
